Monthly Meetings
JCFPA hosts a meeting that allows foster parents to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. These meetings also provide foster parents with opportunities for ongoing training and educational support.
Warehouse
We have a warehouse that allows JCFPA members to pick out clothes, furniture and baby supplies for their foster and biological kids, free of charge.
Facebook Group
Foster parents can join a private Facebook group to connect with other parents in Jackson County. It’s a great resource for advice and support. Click the link below to request access.
Birthday Closet
Birthday parties are known to build self-esteem and no birthday party is complete without a gift. Through generous donations, we’re able to provide a birthday gift for every foster child in our organization.
Back to School
Each September JCFPA gives out backpacks full of school supplies to help all of our foster kiddos go back to school with everything they need to fit in and be ready to learn. We take donations all year long for school supplies. If you can donate to this program, please contact Christina Finke.
Christmas Gifts
Our Christmas Wish program is unique and especially designed to help make Christmas brighter and happier for children in foster care. Each child submits a wish list and we do our best to make those wishes come true.
Christmas Party
Every year, we throw a Christmas party for all of the families in the association. At the party, each child receives a personalized gift, a stocking filled with goodies, a personal visit and photo with Santa, the opportunity to make a Christmas craft and eat as many homemade Christmas cookies as they can stomach!
Easter Party
Easter is on it way! Thanks to a great group of motorcycle riders who donate time a money to make sure our kids have a Happy Easter. They even bring the Easter bunny along with them.
Fundraising
Fundraising make it possible for our families go to places and have experiences that would not otherwise be possible. In addition to financial and in-kind donations, going out into the community helps raise awareness about who we are and what we do.
